More than Baseball...
THE GUILD
Being a member of the "Guild" provides our organization with an atmosphere of support to our team's players, team moms, and coaches during game days and events!
The "Guild" is a paid membership subsection of our organization that aids in opportunities of inclusion for individuals who may lack the ability to play the sport at an intermediate to advanced level per evaluation criteria-in addition to individuals with high functioning developmental or intellectual disabilities.
Members of the "Guild" will partake in a team oriented setting where they are able to be a part of the "team" without the stressors that come with following complex instructions from coaches, or feeling out of place when they're unable to follow through with the expectations of being an athlete on the field. This subsection of our organization will "meet the individual" where they're most comfortable to thrive!
Guild Member's Role & Responsibilities:
- Assisting with water hydration distribution during the games
- Retrieving equipment (bats, balls, helmets, hats,etc.) from the field or dugout during and after the games
- Assisting with after game snacks distribution
- Assisting with events in the capacity that is appropriate to the individual's capabilities
